Connection between us parents, food and the health of our children

It is really important to understand, that you are a role model for your child.
That means when you get the connection between living foods and your health , your child will as well!!

So, lets start with exploring our role and feeling the difference:

First:
Imagine yourself, how you feel after a heavy “normal” Fast food-meal.

And now :
Think about a fully ripe juicy organic mango and how you feel afterwards.

Can you feel the difference?
Raw food/Living food is just alive, that is why your child is more alive and never ill, when you feed them a lot of Raw foods.

When your child eats food, that is not full of life, contains of toxins, and you even know, that the food you are providing is not the best choice, sooner or later, it gets ill.

The little body tries to get rid of all the stuff it doesn’t need.

When I was a child I was always ill, because of all the chocolate,  and bread and meat I was supposed to eat. I personally never wanted to eat it,I was quiet happy with eating an apple or salad, but unfortunately my environment was not so aware of that.

But we know better, don’t we?

So, now get practical.

What does YOUR child eat?

Is it mainly bread or sugary stuff? And does it seem like your child has a sticky nose all the time?
Can you see the connection now?

This is a really important thing:

YOU HAVE TO BE CONVINCED THAT YOU FEED YOUR CHILD THE BEST FOOD
AVAILABLE!

Like I said before, your child believes in you!!

Living food produces and supports Life!

And children are the best example.

Most children will spit out their first spoon of cooked food but parents will keep on trying to convince them and soon the children  believe it is normal to eat cooked food.

CHILDREN BELIEVE THEIR PARENTS!
When you are rising your child on a Rawfood diet or on a high raw diet already and you  aren’t getting the result, like having happy, healthy children,  you should ask somebody who knows more about it!!

There are plenty of children raised on a “good” normal diet, but they are always ill!!

They have industrial diseases, they have teeth problems, but nobody cares!…because they do everything normal!

Don’t think that it is the Rawfood diet making your child ill, or causing teeth problems.
It is just that you not yet know what is missing!

The missing part is the balance! The balance between feeding fruits, fats and greens.

You just have to be really aware of what you feed them and what  combinations you feed and most important, how your children reacts on them!

Please make sure, that you give your children enough green! This is essential, and in our experience most kids eat to much fruit and nuts and too less of the mineral rich green!
Here’s are a few facts about greens vegetables you might not know:

- Greens contain more vitamin A than carrots

- Greens contain more vitamin C than oranges

- Greens contain more vitamin E than whole wheat

- Greens contain more vitamin B2 and digestable calcium than milk

- Greens contain quality proteins

We are not saying that eating 100% is the only solution, but eating a high raw diet is definetiefly helping to increase the health of yourself and your children. Just go with the flow, how you and your children feel! For example:

When you make a cake on a nut and dried fruit base and your child is bloating afterwards… JUST DON’T MAKE IT ANYMORE!

4 top tips to make your child eat more veggies

 

Every parent knows this. You have prepared some nice vegetables, knowing that this is something really healthy.

All research shows that especially vegetables or even more important green leave vegetables or wild edibles are so important to the well being of our children.

Veggies contain a wide spectrum of minerals, your kids need for growth, also vitamins in big amounts, and even more important the essential fatty acids, our human body can’t produce themselves.

It is absolute essential to eat a high percentage of dark green leaves and other vegetables to access these nutrients and make sure, that your child gets everything it needs.

Even more so, if you live on a raw food diet. If you only rely on raw food, the veggies become even more important.

But here you go:

You have put effort, love and time into this meal, and present it with pride on your kitchens table.

But your children do not eat a single bit of it!

So what is it? What is the trick?

Because we are really professionals when it comes down to veggies and children, we want to share our top tips here

1.You have to eat them joyfully yourself. If you want to change bad eating habits that you see in your children, then just sit there with them celebrating a salad yourself.

Do this with no talking. Just enjoy it yourself. If you do this for several days, your kids will feel a change. They will notice what you do, become curious and ask. Let them try, but do not try to force them. This is a golden trick, but it really demands us to hold back and be patient.

2.The second tip is: If you are doing a salad for example, add a very delicious dressing to it. Ask your kids what they like. Play with it. Talk to them about their preferred tastes and give them the feeling, that you are fulfilling their wishes. Even in the end you give them veggies and salad together with their favorite dressing, at least you give them the feeling of being heard and asked.

 

3. The third tip is: Cover it up. If you want to them to eat green veggies like kale, or spinach, or wild edibles, cover it in a smoothie. Start with a pure banana smoothie, so that your kids get familiar with it. Very gently, slowly add green.

Very little in the beginning, so that the color just changes slowly. But one day you will have a real green smoothie, and you r kids will ask for it. Once you have implemented in your kids believe that something green is still tasting sweet and delicious, you have already won. The key here is, make it all slowly!

Another good tip is: Give them something sweet like dates, but roll these dates in a leave of salad. Be with them when you give it to them. Make something exciting out of it.

4.tip: Ask for your top favorite dish of your kids. Make it for them, but discuss beforehand that

there will be a salad before that dish. If you give your kids the feeling of being part of the decision what to eat, they will more likely participate and cooperate.

If you say something, if you came to an agreement, please stick to it! This is important. Kids need to rely on your statements, as you want to rely on what has being admitted by them.

 

5.tip: Like I said in the beginning. Go to the zoo. Watch wild animals. Kids are fascinated by wild animals. Read books about them. Let the facts speak for itself. This can have a big “a-ha” on your kids. Watch the vegetarian, peacful animals, together with your kids and get absorbed in the simple yet powerful truth of nature.

Another raw food family success story

I wanted to share this with you to give you some inspiration.
