Organic clothing
It took a while for Kati to convince me about the importance of organic and fair trade clothing. I thought that it is more important to buy organic food, than clothes.
But after she talked to me again and again about this topic, she finally could convince me.
Like she usually does, even though I do not like to admit this.
But it is just the way it is.
After that happened it sometimes feels like it was my idea from the start, and Kati is supportingly smiling and nodding, so that I can feel good and important!
Funny world and games we play!
Anyhow: After I did some research on the clothing industry, I was shocked how they work. Cheap clothes are produced at the cost of the nature and the humans in the third world. Child workers are spraying the cotton fields with chemicals, polluting the environment and get on top of it all almost no money for doing so. The profits are made by international companies, located in the rich countries.
If you buy cheap clothes, you support this!
